Therapy
“Love takes off the masks that we fear we cannot live without and know we cannot live within.” ―James Baldwin
Fees
I am committed to making therapy accessible to communities who have historically been socioeconomically disadvantaged, to that end, I offer sliding scale options for those who need it.
For those who can afford therapy at cost, I charge $120-$150 per 50-minute session.
If you believe I might be a good fit for you and cost seems to be a barrier, please reach out!
I am happy to share my sliding scale availability or collaborate with you to find resources to help cover therapy costs, such as the National Queer & Trans Therapists of Color Network Mental Health Fund or Open Path Collective.
What is a "Consult Call"?
A consult call is an opportunity for us to determine if we might be a good fit in working together. It is a chance for you to ask questions, get a sense of how I work, and learn what support I'm able to offer.
Please note: A consult call is NOT therapy.
My style and scope will not be the right fit for everyone, so I invite you to be honest with yourself and with me about your needs and expectations.
I will be honest about my skills and abilities, accurately convey what sessions might look like, and would be happy to offer you referrals if you find that I am not the best fit for you at this time.
My priority is to honor your self-determination and ensure you get the support that feels most fulfilling to you.
Whether you are new to therapy or returning for a new perspective, I'm excited you're here.
I pull from a variety of theories and methods to support each client based on their needs, making use of Attachment Theory, Body Liberation, Disability Justice, elements of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Embodiment, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Feminist Theory, Harm Reduction, elements of Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness-based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Nonviolent Communication, elements of Somatic Therapy, and Trauma Therapy.
I offer 50-minute telehealth therapy sessions to folks living in Washington State on an ongoing basis, usually weekly or bi-weekly. I'm not able to see clients when they are traveling outside of Washington State.
Please note: I'm not accepting new therapy clients at this time.
